I'm sure they will look at the Auburn game from last year and see what worked. With Harris at Qb, a stable of RBs and Wideouts , the offense will give them a damn near identical look in practice to prepare. No more Odell Beckham at QB lol. I would say we'd run more nickle but we need LBs with speed on the field for this one.
Front seven
Hunter
Godchaux
Bain
Rasco
Debo
Beckwith

Did you see welter bite hard on the fake handoff on the 79yd TD run? How that's happening from a senior is beyond me. I don't have nearly as much confidence.

This defense is built on stopping the spread, not power run games. I expect us to compete in this game, whether we pull it off or not is another story

Sometimes plays work man. It sucks that they scored, but it was good execution as well.

For 5 yards yes. Not 80. Those happen when your defense is not disciplined.

Trust your teammate to do his job and you do yours. The moment you abandon yours to help him out, you're going to get beat.

Auburn is a power running team. I hope we can put together some stops. Our young defense will likely get distracted by all of the presnap motion.

MSU runs a spread offense man. And err body knows we shut them down!

Our run defense is suspect. We will get better as the year progresses hopefully

The DE whiffed on the QB and the safeties over pursued. That play was a team effort, you're correct.

It was pathetic execution by #31. We had the RB covered thru the middle. Welter left his position because he went for the fake. And yes, I don't expect our guys to play perfect but this is a big time repeat performance by 31. He is at least 2 steps too slow and his tackling in open space is pathetic. Great kid I'm sure but he can't compete. He is in his 5th year in the program. He ain't gonna get better.

Our defensive lineman will still be dancing and hugging the offensive line as the running backs run right past them. For some reason they have not learned to shed the block and go to the ball!!!
