Let's face it. In 2011 we got fricked. No way in hell did bama deserve a title shot. They didn't win the sec and lsu had to play an extra game blah blah blah. LSU had everything to lose, the perfect season blah blah. Bama beat our arse and was the better team that day blah. In a perfect world there would be 8 power conferences and 8 spots in the playoff but it's not a perfect world. I was heartbroken, you were heartbroken, and lesticles is still fricking heartbroken. Les has been mind fricked and he feels the pressure from the bitter fans. Our quarterbacks feel that same pressure. I'm not making excuses, that's just how I see it.

The truth is that we got spoiled. We wanted the "dynasty", so we started overhyping and crowning every high school recruit as the next jerry fricking rice. Every year was "the year" and every year ended in a 10 or 9 win let down.

I went to greenbay and the badger fans wore t shirts reading "heart over hype". It was refreshing to see a fan base that, for the most part, assumed they would lose but still rallied around their team in a place that is incredibly special to them. That stadium was electric and Wisconsin straight up beat the shite out of us.

Miles has proven he can build championship caliber teams and he's proven he can win big games, so to act like he is just some lucky fool is ignorant and ridiculous. Maybe it is time for a change but LSU has bigger problems than just the coaching staff.

LSU fans need to wake up a realize that a sports team reflects its fan base. This attitude we are currently sitting in is counterproductive to our success. Yes I am comparing LSU to the Red Sox and Saban to Babe Ruth.

I understand that tigerdroppings doesn't necessarily reflect the majority of the fans and that most of the guys on here don't actually go to the games. The way y'all blow Saban makes me think y'all are probably just closet bama fans. But for those of you that do actually go to the games and consider yourselves real fans, how about we try to make some conscious efforts to change.

This season is not over and these players have much to play for. So show up to the games. Hell, maybe even stay until the end of the 4th quarter. And while you're there, yell for and not at the team in purple and gold. They might just surprise you.

Tldr: geaux tigers

If you lose to Wisconsin who will lose by a combined score of 156-38 to OSU, Mich, MSU, your season is over.

Miles was a solid hire after losing Saban, he's had a very good run, but it appears to have played out. Its possible to appreciate Miles and still understand that its time for a change. id like to see him announce his retirement, maybe move into an administrative position and things not get ugly.

bullshite. The curse is still having Lester Miles. Should have gotten rid of him last year. Now LSU will be set back 2 or 3 seasons before the next guy can get everything in place to really compete for championships.

The assumption that we were destined for the national championship and that beating wisconsin in lambeau was going to be a cake walk was kinda dumb.

they kicked our arse but didn't deserve a shot?

This is the dumbest thing I have read in a while on many levels. But I am on board. The rest of our season will be gumdrops and candycanes and it doesn't matter how we prepare, game plan, or coach. We, as fans, can "be the ball" nananananananananana....yeah!

You're the one who started a thread about Saban. I haven't seen anyone on here blowing him, like, at all. But since we're on the subject, Saban is a good coach, Jimbo is a good coach, Herman is a good coach. Notice a trend?

doubtful, whether they trounce a team based on pure talent superiority, lose (or barely escape) to subpar competition due to lack of preparation and focus, or get trounced by an equally matched opponent due to refusal to scheme or adapt, it's nothing I haven't seen many times over the past half-decade.

but that's not what has so many of the fans upset. The utter inability to change on offense, the lack of preparation, terrible play on special teams. I want Miles gone because of his inability to succeed with a more modern brand of football.

I can !ive with losing some games to good competition
I have lived thru Cholly Mac and Curly and Broadhead and Dinardo and now Les.

If our Tigers show up and look prepared and motivated and our coaches look competent and seem to give a shite, I will support and defend and praise them unconditionally! Always!

Recently, like last week, our players were unprepared and unmotivated and gave up before the end of the game.

Our coaches made Gomer Pyle look like George Patton and they didn't even care that they couldn't even get a play ca!!ed in a competent\timely fashion!

Our University, our fans and our state deserve better than to be embarrased like this. This was not an isolated occurrence and you will see more of the same due to the failure of leadership we have endured for the iast 3-5 years.

I'm just sayin....

We don't have that many "heart losses."

The last LSU loss I can think of that wasn't due at least in good part to frustrating coaching and a broken system--where as fans we were disappointed but could only say, " hey, it happens"--was at Georgia, 2013.
