re: The crying about Aranda and the D is embarrassing

After watching every play this year, it’s not hard to understand that when we rush only 4, the opposing offense has success. When we rush 5 or more, they have hardly any success. Rushing 4, their QB has way too much time. I don’t care if we give up an occasional big play, we must get after the QB, get sacks and create turnovers

So, we're accepting much better now....wow.

Amazing the Aranda apologists on here....457 yds a team with little offense laid on our arse. One more thing, if he's should a defensive genius, why wait to the 2nd half all the time? Asking for a friend?
Sigh
There's a long thread. Read it.
In any case, anyone who has been on this board more than a minute knows that NO ONE can accuse me of default "knighting" for coaches.
Hell, if you want me to gripe about Aranda, I do have a gripe.
Namely. WHY IN THE frick are we in such poor shape in terms of being able to get pressure with 4? Why do we have so many liabilities in coverage once you get past our corners?
Recruiting is part of coaching too. My REAL complaint with Aranda right now isn't his game plan. It's the reason the game plan is necessary.

Bingo.
It's that simple

Then point me out the post where you directly answered what I melted over Burrow about, and what I was so wrong about? Should be easy for you to do.

As i said in the other post the goal is to keep the offense guessing. There is a reason the Saints don't score 50 a game.It is a chess match. You cannot use the same moves every game.

Florida was 9/17 on 3rd down. Just over 50%. We were too aggressive on 3rd and long and it got us beat quite a few times. Playing zone and simply keeping them behind the sticks instead of going for the home run play would have likely ended a few of their drives.
This is 100% incorrect. We didn’t make a single stop play dropping 8. Not one. They picked up every 3rd down conversion we did that. Pressure was one of the few things that worked. The only problem is that, no matter what this defense does right now, it is SUPER predictable. Disguising looks and coverage used to be Aranda’s greatest strength until he went Les Miles on us.
In the second half, UF did pick up 3 conversions when we blitzed. On each, the LBs showed EXACTLY where they were coming from before the snap. A guy like Mullen will pick that shite apart all day. So will Sark.

Precisely
I wonder what game that guy was watching.

When will some of you stop excusing or ignoring the LACK OF BASIC frickING EXECUTION??? If the defense could execute the current game plan properly, we don’t have some of the issues. If that can’t be fixed mid-season (talent, mental factors, scheme is too complex, or whatever else) for whatever reason, then the staff has to make some changes. But it isn’t just recruiting. Our players play soft, play passive and don’t tackle or carry out assignments when we play anything other than straight man. Go watch the tape. This isn’t difficult to figure out.

Second request.

You realize that we played more zone in the second half, right? That was by Orgeron's own admission.
So much for your basic execution narrative.

Third request, point me to the defense of the offense on a constant basis, and where I said you said Burrow sucked since you started this shite
Then I'll dig through and find where you said the entire offense sucked donkey dicks last year

It seems pretty clear that Aranda and Orgeron have a very different take than you.

And the only stops we using it were backs against the wall in the red zone where the field compressed. One of those was on a fricking option play and the other was a great individual effort. We gave up at least 2 TDs on the night playing zone in the red zone, one where Fulton has no clue what coverage we were in. I would call that and the blown assignments all over the field in the fist half a basic lack of execution.
Are you guys really cool will moving the goal posts this far for a staff paid this much?

Evidently not, we had multiple pressures/sacks in the latter part of the game

I'm waiting on you to:
1- answer if you accept my ban bet. I am 1000% certain I will be able to find exactly what I claimed you were saying last season. I'm not going to dig through your thousands of post, going back to last season unless it can benefit the entire board by getting rid of your arse for a while.
2- waiting for you to answer me what I was melting over Burrow about, and was so wrong about.

I did say the offense was pretty bad last season. I said it, because they were pretty damn bad last year.
