With this mentality...you're basically setting yourself up for disappointment. EVERY team loses games, & EVERY team loses to inferior teams.
Baseball isn't like football. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time...even Skip Bertman did. You're basically just pissing yourself off for no reason.

I'm not pissed...more like embarrassed. We got 1-hit by a guy with an ERA near 7.....one...hit.

It's just 1 game dude. I'll be a little pessimistic if we get swept by Mizzu. Losing 2 games to Mizzu would suck, but I still wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
One positive thing from the Southern game is that we learned Marceaux isn't ready for SEC teams (not anytime soon at least). Having your starter getting shelled in a SEC game is almost an automatic loss. Our optimal pitching rotation & batting lineup still hasn't arrived...mostly due to injuries.
We really need Cabrera & Jaden Hill back. Dugas might give us a spark as well.

39-27 (15-15 SEC) last year and a returning team this year that was supposed to be the schit. We've been inconsistent as hell so far but yet we're supposed to believe that PM will turn it on later in the season....again?

More often than not, this is exactly what happens. But we are stacking midweek losses at what feels like a higher clip, so it's pretty frustrating as a fan

Actually, Yes. When someone consistently does something over & over, year after year...you assume it will keep happening until it doesn't.

Pawl's won the outright SEC twice since 09. Yes he's gotten to Omaha a few times as well but the results have been mixed with some outright schitty performances....including the 26-1 pasting by OSU last year in the SR.
I'm simply ready to go a new direction.

We never left. How can we when we have a coach who can’t beat in state schools. Amazing how far LSU baseball expectations have fallen.

I always thought the expectations were to make it to Omaha. If the expectations (for an elite program) are to not lose to in-state schools, then no program in the country is meeting their expectations.
Why is CPM being faulted for not being able to accomplish what no school is accomplishing?

CPM has sucked the life out of THE BOX and the fan base period...its his attitude that bothers me....ive been a season ticket holder since the mid 80's and it's sad to see such poor coaching and the fans are getting tired of it...

whichever way you split it, with all the players this team returned, they have under achieved for sure. And when you look harder, the guys who returned are producing, plus a guys like Cabrera & Reid who we expected to, and several freshmen. Questions should be raised as to why this team is not playing as well as it can.
