Here they come. You knew they were going to come the instant LSU loses a game in baseball. Please bookmark this thread and open it back up in June when we’re a top 8 seed for regionals and supers, and playing in the CWS. By then we’ll all forget about this loss to Southern. This game literally means nothing unless you’re a Southern person.

It's not the Southern loss. It's the complete daily up and down with the team, mostly on offense. They aren't consistent enough right now to even think about winning a regional much less a super.

Its a yearly reminder i post every year that we will drop a couple mid week games and that it doesnt matter. But the football mentality is strong here. And they have short term memories. Its not like we dont have years of data to backup these claims lol

Possible that State is overrated too? The lineup has nights where they don't produce runs but on top of that completely look outmatched. I don't care about mid week games but when they have played five shitty teams and scored about six runs in those games, it's not a good look.

Every week it seems like top 25 teams are dropping mid week games to I ranked teams. Kendall Rodgers has been tweeting about it every week.

You guys love to cite history when we lose midweek games, right? No worries, National Seed, etc.
Last time we lost to SU we hosted a regional that we didn’t get out of. Good season, I guess. Finished 40-22. If you’re happy with that type season, that’s fine. That coach in 2005 got fired for these type seasons.
But I digress, before the experts accuse me of melting.

We lost 4 last year and got sent to Corvallis. They matter and tighten the margin for error in SEC play.

So Southern is the only bad team we’ve ever lost to? Why is losing to them, in particular, any more relevant than some other slapdick team a national title winning team lost to? Because you looked up the last time they beat us and tried to make a correlation for effect?
