Miles and co. may be sandbagging, but they better not wait too long to run some bread and butter plays in the redzone. Like that FB wheel route by Ware. That's a money play I'm sure they are saving for desperate times.

Chavis hasn't done a 180 from his coaching style. Not in the slightest.

People just make up shite about him and it's stuck to him.

Thats ludacris. Everyone knows how conservative he was. We've been running bump n run a he'll of a lot more than I saw last year. Third down blitzing on a regular basis is new...

You run bump and run when you have pass rushers that can get to the QB.

Last year LSU didn't have pass rushers to get to the QB, and he still manufactured a solid unit.

This year, we can unleash the hounds and be much, much more aggressive in the secondary.

When Chavis has the talent, he fields sick defenses. His downturn at Tennessee was related only to talent.

He's one of the best in the business.

At some point in the past, most of us thought that the only rational explanation for our playcalling was that we were sandbagging. We have learned otherwise and you will too.

The coaches may not be sandbagging, but the team has gotten a little better, hope it continues this Saturday.

In theory, the sandbagging idea is great. But in reality, a qb can't jsut decide he's gonna be great while not having practiced and learned in live game situations.

That's where all the angst about him throwing the ball comes in. If he doesn't open it up now, when we need it to happen how are we jsut going to turn on that switch and be a wide open attack?

It won't work that way, sso I look for us to opne it up against WVU just in preparation of our future tough tough games.

Man there is so much hate and idiotic comments in this thread that I hesitate to post anything.

What you dumbfricks fail to realize is that Last year the playcalling was for a poor OL and almost mediocre QB play. Last year the defense couldn't get a pass rush unless we rushed 12!

Our QB can't handle a lot. He just doesn't have the QB IQ. The coaches did the right thing against MSU by limiting the demands on JJ. And it must of worked because JJ had the best game on the passing plays that he has probably ever had.

No he didn't get more yards but that is on RS. Stop complaining about being conservative when we won the game 29-7. That argument doesn't fly.

Miles said he would do that for the MSU game and he did so stop acting shocked. Miles said he would pass more when the game demands it. Why is that so hard to believe. We have almost always passed more.

Could've sworn people were saying the exact same thing last year and then the Florida game happened.

"SMILE! Be Happy! Your TIGERS are BETTER THAN YOU THINK!!!!"

Isn't that the truth! I think that a lot of folks will be surprised by where we end this 2010 season.

I am a big believer in the power of faith. In the universe and in the Tigers! Faith never hurt anyone, friends, so come along for a great ride.

There is a ton of pain in the world right now. Don't drag it into Tiger Stadium. Enjoy your friends, lovers, family and LSU football.

BS,they have thrown before in games, with bama being a good game last year. It's not like they haven't thrown the ball down the field before...this debate is rantarded. Plus, you don't know that all five teams you are speaking of are better than the three we have played. You don't know if WV is better than State or NC. You don't really know if auburn or arky is...auburn did beat state by 3...but it was a good game.
