Is coming out and punching Bama in the mouth. We haven't started strong in a game all season, and Bama often struggles with adversity (they don't see it often). If we can avoid digging ourselves a hole, we have a chance. If not, it could turn into TN game quick. I will echo other posters and say I think we should go to Ricks early and often. He is talented, but a very emotionally driven player. If you can eliminate him, I don't think we will have too much trouble moving the ball.

I wouldnt go at Ricks just to go at Ricks, just take what the D gives you.

A uncharacteristic Interception or Fumble by JD would be huge.

You know it is a big game when 1/3 of the posters come out with their expert opinion on the keys to the game. I think we've seen containing Gibbs, containing Bryce, Daniels having to let it fly, we need 150 yards rushing, special teams, coaching, the crowd, the rain, turnovers, Perkins and BJ being on the field at the same time, and now punching them in the mouth as being keys to the game.

How well we defend the screen passes to Gibbs is also a big key to this game.

Coach Kelly identified a fast start and consitency--where each player keeps focus every down and doesn't get beat b/c of a sudden mental lapse--as the two keys to winning the game. Kelly said he knows this team is a group of fighters who will finish strong, but they need to demonstrate they can start strong against Alabama. So the OP is spot on.

Is there’s not a biggest key to the game. We’ve got to do a lot of things really well. However, we don’t have to be “prefect.” That’s a myth.

I hope LSU is aggressive with play calling. If we run twice and throw on 3rd and 8, were in for a long day. Seems to me that we try to run in the teeth of a stacked line every year, with the exception of 2019.
