The Biggest Issue with LSU "culture"

Let me preface this by saying, I hate Alabama as much as anyone on this board. I was at the game this year, and if anyone would of yelled "Row Tie" at me I probably would have lost it.

But the biggest problem with the LSU fanbase is the "BEAT BAMA" shirts. If we want to be on the same level as that program in Tuscaloosa this needs to stop. I have never, not once, seen an Alabama fan wearing a beat LSU shirt. It seems like we're much more concerned about them than they are about us.

LSU fans need to get over the loss we had in the NC a few years back, it happens, move on, realize that we will have one of the most talented teams we've ever had next year. Honestly, if we get ANY production out of the QB position, we will beat anyone we play.

Also, Geaux Tigers

LSU fans are so insanely jealous of bama it's insane, I have finally excepted it for what it is based on the results, the own us, we have to play a perfect game to beat them, and our coach who the pumpers hold in such high regard can usually be blamed for a bonehead decision causing us to lose when we do play that perfect game

Just kick it out the back of the endzone, I hate squib kicks.

I'm pretty sure fan apparel had no relevance to the outcome of a game.

The kicker mis hit the ball trying to kick it out of bounds.
This myth that miles told him to do what he did is ridiculous and unfounded.

I'm not saying it did, but even during the Schula years Alabama fans never wore "Beat LSU" shirts. I'm saying that the LSU fanbase's mentality needs to change, and the "BEAT BAMA" shirts are just an artifact of the mentality we need to get rid of.

He has beat bama 5 times. He is the reason why we can compete with them.

The OP's point absolutely applies to auburn, they are bama's little brother and have major envy

Not a shirt, but he wore it to SEC Media Days. Close enough.

So our mentality should not be beat bama?

Just by his choice of dress I think we can see that this guy is an outlier and not the norm. I can't stop laughing at this guy's Alabama "chain"

Yeah, this is the problem.

By the way, Bama fans do include in their little song "frick Auburn, and LSU"

Well I agree he missed hit it. But he was not trying to kick the ball out of bounds on a kick off.
