...is to start fresh and put the last two years behind them.

Honestly, as an alum, I sort of thought LSU was slumping before '11 anyways....

Before I knew it, LSU had beaten Oregon and West Virginia and the defense was starting to get a swagger to them, not unlike the swagger Miami Hurricane teams used to have...

But what the Tigers need the most right now is to start fresh and look no further than TCU in Dallas...

The recruiting should pay dividends sooner rather than later with Beckwith and all the talented DB's LSU signed and the additions of Jennings and Rettig it is a pretty decent foundation to build upon at QB

Solid post man.

I like the idea as well. We had the potential to do it this year with a new QB finally, but the shadow of 1/9 was still too large, then we lose Mathieu a couple of weeks before the season, and then the OL falls apart.

We just needed a little more time to fully recover from 1/9, and a 10-3 season aint a bad way to do it.

Looking forward to next year. I expect the team to look a whole lot like it did on 11/3.

Yeah, because within the context of of LSU's entire football history, winning an SEC Championship and going 23-4 the past 2 years is so embarrassing that we never want to dwell on ever again.

Yeah, the way they finished '10 by destroying AtM and top 3 ranking to start had me worried too!

As an alum that slept at a holiday inn express last night, I feel it would be better for the team to let the '11 and '12 campaigns fill them with determination and venomous purpose to work their asses off to put a beat down on the rest of the SEC, especially Bama. I feel it is the fans that need to start fresh, putting the years 2008 through 2012 behind them.

I think with all the young talent coming in we will do better..Coaches can't screw there heads up like they do veteran players.
