The Beard - back at The Box

Some of yall might remember my post from back in January about my dad's hunting accident and the crazy amount of support he received from CPM, multiples players as well as so many fellow Tiger fans. CPM has stayed in steady contact with him thoughout the season which blew us away. Well he finally made it back to The Box last weekend. He made all 3 Regional games and both Super Regional games. It was a huge deal for him to get back in there. Everyone was so happy to see him and vice versa. He toughed it out last night until long after the dog pile. It was a lot different for him to be watching from a wheelchair but he was able to score one of the wheelchair spots right by his old stomping grounds, section 117. This will be his first time to miss the Omaha trip since 2008 so if you're going, give em hell for Big Rick. #FearTheBeard

Your father and his love of LSU no matter what is one of the reasons that I love this school and its people.

I was hoping to see him last night so it's nice to hear that he made it. Hope his rehab continues to progress.
