Alright, to save everyone else the trouble, I'll play.
In 2007 LSU Beat:
The SEC-East division champion
The eventual ACC Conference Champion
*SEVEN teams above .500
In 2011 Alabama beat:
3 teams above. 500
Kent State.
Now crawl back into your sister's bed, you obvious troll.
*-We didn't play ULM that year, but from what I hear, they were tough to beat.

I know some of you tiger fans are not happy to be playing us again. But, how can you blame the system when it worked. Without a playoff system, it is the next best thing. At least you have
#1 vs #2. And we are clearly the 2 best teams in the country. Of course,,, LSU is #1....... For now at least!
Everyone wants to blame the system, when maybe they should be blaming Boise St, Stanford, Oklahoma St, Oklahoma, and Oregon for losing games down the stretch and creating the so called BCS Mess...

We have no problem with playing Bama again on the road in their house(according to some of you, this is no home game for us). Bottomline is OSU lost when they controlled their own destiny, and Bama is the second best team in the country so the BCS worked. It may not be fair to us, but it is the system we have. Winner Jan. 9th wins the crystal.

The notion of "not happy" should be explained.
1-LSU beat Alabama already. We aren't happy because most of us feel that if we had Alabama's schedule, there is no way LSU would get a rematch.
2-The SECCG. The extra week off, the extra game film, benefits Alabama.
3-Alot of us are thinking, should we go undefeated, this team would be the GOAT in LSU history. Being able to say that we beat the Big 12 Champions along with the Big East and Pac-12 champions adds to that resume
4-And it really boils down to this. LSU should, and I'm assuming will be, AP National Champions. Let's say the unthinkable happens and Alabama wins. Is it fair that a team we split a series with 1-1 (with our win coming in their home and their win coming on a neutral site), a team we have more wins than, a team we played a much, much, much beter schedule than, is also considered national champions?
That is where the feelings of unhappy comes from.
All that being said, there is no doubt in my mind LSU will soundly defeat Alabama in the Superdome.

As I stated in the other thread:
2007 LSU beat five of the top 15 teams ranked at the END OF THE SEASON.
LSU's 2007 resume, with two loses, is leaps and bounds better than Bama's one loss resume in 2011.
Deal with it entitled gumps.

I can tell you this,,, if Bama had won 9-6 this year... we would have the same game!

Cry me a river! Are you kidding me! Tell me,, what were we gonna get from the Georgia game that we could not get from the rest of the your season.
I could argue that our lay off will be longer than yours,,, Advantage LSU!

I can see that!

To split the national title will be fine. But, will y'all really be satisfied with only the AP because you lost in the Championship Game?

We'll see!

No, nothing like how Ohio St. felt in 2007.
I would go on to explain, but your response does not qualify you worthy.
It must be awesome to go through life so simple.

I rushed my listing (as the awful writing reveals). I really just wanted to make a few points and got carried away.
The critical goal is to end affirmative action in college football, and step 2 is vital. Boise State and other wannabees simply have not earned a shot at LSU or Alabama or other BCS teams. This is not a game of monopoly. It is big time college football, which has millions of devoted fans who donate money and attend or follow games religiously and players who have staked their athletic gifts and struggles on going with a big time program to gain entrance to the pros.
Boise players chose not to take the chance to go to a big time program and risk never playing. Boise State ain't devoted. They could be if they recruited better. They could be if they refused to play crummy teams. I am sick of flashes in the pan rather than a team like Stanford grinding its way to prominence, assuming the PAC 12 is a grind. Still, the PAC 12 is a gauntlet compared to Boise's conference. Think Boise can go undefeated in the PAC 12? No way. And Boise knows it.
I could go on, but I will stop boring people on this point.
Playoffs reduce the regular season, which actually is the most important part of college football. Regular season games must be limited due to the risk of injury during playoffs. But the struggling, cheap, and chump conferences don’t want to agree to increased scholarships so that LSU would be two deep at the critical positions. LSU would have at least two big, fast option quarterbacks of equal ability every year.
Nuff for now.
