It's a great band song, that excites the crowd, gets everyone doing the motions and pumps it up.
The song first came out in the 1980s as an anti-Reagan song called "Talkin' Out the Side of Your Neck. GBFTL has been playing it for about five or so years, now, and it's been a huge hit.

Can the students come up with some vile and vulgar cheers to that piped in crap instead of the Tiger Band music? Maybe they'll stop with that crap then. Seriously, it's becoming harder and harder to defend the LSU fans against our own reputation. The vulgarities from the students heard on national tv, the complete trashing of our own campus by our own fans after every home game, the problems at Vanderbilt with the residents in the neighborhoods around campus, the national attention the booing by our fans received...we keep playing into all the stereotypes week after week.

Sit far away from the Frats and you don't hear i. Sit close to them and it's clear as hell.
They're also the ones that add all the extra bs to every chant. Get rid of the Frats and that pretty much takes care of this problem.
Move the student section to the upper deck, and give those ppl the NEZ tickets. Won't be able to hear it on TV anymore. Problem solved. You're welcome.

Yup. Frats are a tiny minority at LSU. Leave them alone. They do everything the same as everyone else at foodball games.

If the frats are the only ones saying it then God Damn they are loud....but its not just the frats . It is 70% of the student section.

Sat on the south east side in the curve across from the student section for WV game...heard the suck that tiger d**k" clear as a bell. I don't think it was just a group of frat boys...it was pretty loud. My usual tickets are on the other end of the stadium and I can never hear any of the student chants except "you suck".

I love how yall are so upset of the vulgarity, yet you loved the song and dance/hand motion (which doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what it is implying). I'm glad they are banning that stupid song. It has no "traditional purposes" anyways.

I find it sad that for some reason, students think its cool to say this vulgar stuff.
Looking back to my student days, I guess we werent as cool as todays students because this sort of thing was not prevalent.
