Who cares about last year?

Nothing can surpass how I feel about 21-0 on 1/9. I'll take that one to the grave, given the year that team had and the stakes involved.

frick Iowa St for beating Okie St that year!

All that pain will go away when we run the table and win it all this year. No one is stopping our offense and our defense will get if figured out.

We have a few tune up games before a bye week before Bama, and then another bye week before a&m. Purple and gold glasses aside, I would rather be in our shoes than bama or a&m right now for the chance at the NC.

"I like LSU. They're my second favorite team. If they aren't playing Bama then I pull for them."

I'm assuming you just needed to respond to somebody, not necessarily the right body?
Next time you feel the need to flap your wings and especially your lips this much, at least aim it in the right direction, if you're capable? Capeesh..

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery today is a blessing. Back the tigers 100 % & things will work out. Bama has only played 1 team so far & almost lost it. I think the Tigers will be ready time we meet BAMA.

Jesus Christ.

You think when Bama loses to LSU their fans give a shite?

No.

So why should you be concerned?

I said that sarcastically.

They have the luxury of knowing it won't count in the end.

Defense went soft and it cot LSU that game. That game defined the difference in champions and non champions. Champions play to win and LSU played to not lose. If LSU defense had continued to play like they had all night LSU would have won that game.

Chablis pushed out and it cost y'all the game.

Just like the year before when Saban kicked 5 FGs. That was a huge loss for your program. It defined who was a champion, and who wasn't.

Oh wait.

LOL. Got to love the WWE.

I cannot stand when someone says "you shouldnt let a game played by kids upset you". Let me explain something to you, the reason we get upset is because we have some kind of emotional attachment to the school and team we r pulling for. My emotion comes from my whole family graduating from LSU. Others could be the love of the state, people knowing kids on the team, other family members attending rivalry schools, bragging rights etc... It fricking doesnt matter, we as fans get upset bc we want to see our team and state school succeed. Fans like you must br a real joy to watch a game with. College football is all about pagentry and rivalry.

I agree with this too.

Now I think it can be carrier a little too far, you should spin off into deep dark depression or anything, but nothing wrong with saying a loss still stings a little.

FWIW I live in Alabama. Next door neighbor is a Gump fan. I play golf and shoot pool with him and a bunch of other Gump fans and I always have to hear something about that game, 1-9 or the fact they beat Mesopotamia Tech 3000 years ago to win the National Championship and now they have hundreds if titles. Oh they were all pretty quiet when we won five straight.

So until we kick their arse in November last years game sets the standard.

You do realize beating them in November is just doing them a favor, right?

The joke is on you, dude.

Until you realize this, you are going to be miserable. You need to learn to laugh a little.

Hurts even more considering LSU wins a national championship if Mathieu is still on the team. No way in hell Yeldon scores on that play.

Exactly. Which is why I don't understand all the Mathieu love on this board. This POS lets down his team mates, his coaches, his family and his community. Yet some posters treat him like he's anything but a selfish, immature little boy with no clue to what being a full grown man is all about. They live in a sea of denial.

We treat him like he was a great player from lsu that made a mistake. He ha done more for lsu football than any anonymous poster on this site. There is a short list of true sophomore Bednaril Award winners. The list begins and ends with one name.
There is a short list of true sophomore SEC DPOY. The lost begins and ends with one name.
TM7 was the first Heisman finalist that played strictly defense.

OK. Just be a fan WITHOUT being a puss. The game was a season ago!

He failed multiple drug tests, so many that Miles was left with no option. That isn't "a mistake", it's a decision to continually ignore his responsibility. Unless you're in denial.

Here's reality: where was the Bednarik Award winner, SEC DPOY, Heisman finalist when we had Alabama beat and the path to the BCS Championship wide open? Doing the only thing he cares about - getting high.
