God you fricking suck. He said multiple rimes we have a tough schedule. Other teams in the conference have arguably as tough or close to as tough schedules based on pre season rank and playing certain tougher teams on the road as opposed to home. Why are you like this?

The fact we are having this discussion was because someone suggested that lsu had a tough schedule. Instead of agreeing with them, he decided to challenge them by stating lsu doesn't even have the toughest schedule in their division. In fact, he stated not likely even the second toughest. Fact is no other team plays 4 top 9 teams. As I said, the negas would be here to defend a fellow nega. Here you are.
I'm not making excuses either. I expect lsu to have a good year. Answer me this though, does any other team in the country play 4 preseason top 9 teams?

And you keep omitting that Aub plays 3 of our toughest games all on the road and that their OOC opponent is ranked higher, plus they play us btw which you've already said ad nauseam that "we comin".

I think all he was saying is that this doesn’t necessarily mean our schedule is the “toughest” and that arguably other team have comparably tough or potentially tougher schedules depending on how the season unfolds.

No one has ever said the schedule “isn’t that tough”.
We have said it is not clearly the toughest in the country, is not clearly the toughest in the conference, and is not significantly tougher than any other year in the SEC West when we also play a top OOC opener.
You and your apologists are the ones that get all defensive when anyone tries to be level headed about the schedule and see it as a chance for this team to rally and respond the way past LSU teams have instead of as a preseason excuse for a subpar season.

I'm not sure what side of the proverbial fence you are on, but I take it you don't like the fact that polls make lsu's schedule look difficult. Most negas don't, they try to downplay it as a typical lsu schedule, nothing more. Most overly positive people will try and use that as an excuse. People in the middle, like me, recognize it is tough, will take that into consideration, but still EXPECT a good season.

Maybe if there was more confidence in the LSU coaching staff to get the most out of a team with top 10 talent according to recruiting rankings, then Auburn and TAM would have another top 10 opponent on their schedule

I am fine with discussions. In this case, there are points on both sides. Neither side of the argument will convince the other. Great. Leave it at that. Where the discussion goes sideways, is when terms like "apologists", "negas", etc start being thrown about.
