For teams looking for a Tradition ... Not for LSU!! .. You come to LSU because of tradition not some 3, 4, 5 , or 6 uniform hustles.
Look at all the Trams that actually WIN National Championships, they don't do these gimmicks. (well maybe a game a year, a slight change)

Anything with our traditional yellow pants and that fugly purple top is the worst I have ever seen. I dread the every year game we have to wear that garbage.
Yellow helmet, white shirt, yellow pants is nothing but awesomeness. If we must wear the purple jersey the white helmet and white pants are a must.

It's actually a minimum of two purple shirt games each year. Last year we wore them 3 times (once with white pants and headgear) and in the NC year of 2007, 4 times.
