The ABS will be probably the highlight of the tournament

At least if we don't get a baseball miracle. I hope the system works well and becomes standard in SEC games.
It will be interesting to see who Jay give the green light to challenge since coaches are not allowed to initiate or signal and if he has a preference for using them on the pitching or hitting side.
If a coach etc. signals to challenge the challenge is lost.
This is what will cause the most controversy by those not knowing the rules ABS operates under since stance and framing have no effect.

Overview
The home plate umpire will call balls and strikes unaided by ABS. Each team will be permitted to challenge an individual strike or ball call (on either offense or defense) by appealing to the appropriate call of the pitch as determined by ABS.
A challenge may occur at any point in a plate appearance — including the end of an appearance (e.g., a walk, called strike three, or hit by pitch). The defensive team cannot challenge a strike, and the offensive team cannot challenge a ball.
If a coach etc. signals to challenge the challenge is lost.

If that graphic is accurate, there are going to be a lot of low strikes that people are not happy about

It is straight from the SEC https://sec-abs.web.app/
Go to the page and you can click on the picture to see what would be considered a strike. it seems generous.

You could realistically use it for every at bat as shitty the SEC have been this season.

Honestly this should be used everywhere and the homeplate ump just there for plays at the plate or hit by pitch calls

With our pitching I don’t think the opponents will be tapping their head very often
