I've never gone to a game and thought that the traffic leaving would be easy.
We only go to 2-3 games a year for the past 20 years and we have never left early. I figure if we have paid for tickets, drove to the stadium and parked in free parking, then why leave early just to sit in traffic and listen to the game.
Traffic has sucked every single time we have left from either the Law Center, The Hayfield or parked along Nicholson. Traffic is just a part of the experience. It shouldn't be but it is.

It’s like baseball…. I go because I love it and if it goes 4 hours I’m ok. Same as football. Traffic is part of it. I don’t go to be home by 10 ( when I lived close to campus), I go because I want to see the tigers play.

You're better off just riding out the game and by the time you get to your car, traffic is much improved.
Also, LSU could really help out traffic if they'd open up free lots on all sides of Campus and encourage people coming to the game to park in the lot closest to the side they live on. Would keep 40K cars from trying to use one lane roads to get home.

Before BDS did all their contra flow stuff it didn't seem like that big of a deal. I think it was 07 or 08 I remember them shutting down all the side streets and putting everything contra flow to where you couldn't get where you wanted to go and forced everyone there onto the same street.

Corporate Tiger stadium. The stadium used to be filled with diehard fans now it’s filled with people who have money. That is the difference.
