Florida has struggled to hit ANY pitching this season. They are dead last in the SEC in batting average, almost 70 points behind LSU. They average almost 3 runs/game fewer than LSU. Only Ole Miss has scored fewer runs than Florida and the Black Bear Rebels have played one less game.
Florida wins because of their weekend starting pitchers.

That is what sucked about this weekend. Those guys hadn't hit all year....but they are all on scholarship because at some point they have demonstrated the ability to hit a baseball, and they just happened to all earn their schollies (or whatever part of the 11.7 they had) this weekend.
If a guy walks up to the plate and has a bat with him, he is dangerous....no matter what the numbers say.

I agree, but not having the ability to play small ball is going to screw us. Hey I like seeing Gorilla ball as much as the next guy, but it can't always be that way.

Sorry but you gotta if your gonna win it all. Plus arms all over CWS. Today as it stands we can't hit em, but boy when we got to those minus arms in the pen did we show them we could hit the average pitcher.
