I think the record will show that he wilted in big games. He was also blessed with arguably the best talent in school history . And he had a 58-year old ego tantrum and went out like a little bitch to a team in his own division, staining his relationship with his LSU players. And he will find tough sledding ahead at A&M for obvious reasons. I don't wish him ill, but let's not "Disney-fy" his resume. He's not the defense Fairy.

This.

Where do these soft fans come from.
You see where all that "good luck" to Saban got them.
Good luck to Chavis? Fukk that. I hope he loses every game.

Good luck and thanks, Chief, for all you did for LSU while you were here. For the most part, your defenses were pretty stout and in my opinion, you did your job well. Of course, you'll understand that I can only wish you well as long as we are not playing you. I wish every coach on the LSU staff were as competent as you were. Oh well, one can only wish.....

Lutcher lad, as a Lutcher grad myself, I went from being proud of your OP, to being embarrassed by this sophomoric comment.

Yeah, I can understand thanking him for his time here, but I'm not wishing him good luck. He's our competitor now, therefore I hope he fails miserably.

frick him! I hope Sumlin continues to underperform as the coach there, and he and chavis are out on their arse after '16 when LSU wins 6 straight against them!

This right here. I appreciate what he did for LSU while he was here, but I can not and will not wish him luck as an aggie.

I don't mind thanking him for his whole body of work including leaving for Texas A&M. I think A&M has helped light a fire under our program moving forward. Thanks Chief for everything!
