I'm still not thanking the NCAA

Hopefully the team can close shop on this regional tomorrow and regroup for the SR. It only gets more difficult from here, but I have some legitimate faith in this team. I will say right now, we won't see another 5(7) error game from the Tigers this year.

Fact is we are 54-9, didn't win the SEC because Vandy played out of their mind. Did win the SECT, and are now 2-0 in the regional. There aren't many teams that wouldn't die to be in our shoes..

Any team from here on out is pretty good. They didn't make it to a regional by chance. LSU has done what was asked and won games. Pretty, no, but won none the less. Some LSU fans are getting unbearable, have faith and pull for the Tigers, let the chips fall where they may. I like our odds to get to Omaha. If Eades can right the ship, I may be hanging another championship poster in the ole man room.

Didn't win the SEC regular season, because the East is < the West this year. We beat Vandy, and would have won the reg season, had Florida, Tenn and UGA been worth a shite.

Get back to the original question. What good came out of going all out and winning the tournament? Did it get them a top three national seed? Did it put them ahead of Vanderbilt? Did it get them an easier draw in the regional? Or did it put unnecessary wear on the bullpen and cost us one our best defensive outfielders? But hey, it helped Tigerdroppings Nation demand a start for Jared Foster, and he really delivered tonight.

Um, I have said nothing about the entire season in this thread. I have made an observation about the last two games. Care to argue with the facts from the last two games?
