But I'd be lying if I said his OM track record didn't make me nervous.

Only ranters with “Cajun” or Bayou” or “eaux” or “boudin” etc in their name weren’t nervous.

Coordinators dont always make good HCs.

Everyone was convinced Muschamp would win too

From the jump I said O could win titles at lsu if he got a legit oc. He did that this past off season when he correctly surmised that the 2018 offensive scheme wasnt gonna a cut it. Why did I think that? Because we just had a great recruiter and great motivator that did it.

My only problem with O had nothing to with O. It was his sycophants on here that tried to make everyone believe that all of the sudden losing 4 and 3 games a year at lsu while having a shite offense was always acceptable. O deserves all of the credit in the world for getting Burrow and Brady here.

I wanted O from the jump. I could feel the passion and thought he had done a great job at USC.
Thought his ties to the Pelican state would be a great fit.
Football is not rocket science.

What? I said we would win 10 games in 2017 and 2018. I said we were a legit Oc away from winning a title.

You said scheme was not an issue last year. You said that retard.
I told you scheme would make all the difference in the world while you spent all of 2018 shitting on lsu players.

Link what I was wrong about....

I wanted Herman as well. It appears at this specific time I was wrong and I can say that I am thrilled that a Louisiana man is coaching us fantastically. I have never been so happy to be wrong and I pray for coach O’s continued success each day! I am very happy for his family!!

Since you brought it up, what percentage of position coaches fail vs Coordinators?

Prove it.

Outside of dabo, what position coach to HC has won a national title?

You dont know enough about the sport so you just claim that hiring O was a success so we should always hire career position coaches.

Its bookmarked so we can laugh about it for ever.
You literally just said we should always hire career position coaches as hc.

Just something fun to think about now but how do y’all think LSU would have turned out if we had went with one of the young guns like Fleck instead of O?

Would he have had the same success here as he has the other places he’s coached? Or would LSU have been too big of a jump for him?

Roger wants to hire career position coaches from now on.

I'll had this to the list or retarded roger posts....

-Troy was more talented than lsu.
-I could be as accurate as Greg Maddux if I wanted to.
-Tommy Moffit is to blamed for offensive production against Southeastern.
Southeastern.
-Mike leach doesnt run the air raid
( the offense he developed)
-there is nothing wrong with our scheme and we dont need to fix our passing game/oh we hired Brady to fix the passing game?
- I never said pbu and solo tackles outweighs sacks and tfls in gauging de production/ Oh you have photographical evidence that I did ?oops

Stating objective facts isnt bashing....

In 2017 and 2018 o's record against p5 teams that finished the season with less than 5 losses was 2-5. THATS NOT AN OPINION.
In 2017 we had the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb and lost 4 games. That's not an opinion.

My praise should cement it to everyone that it was never about O. It was about the results and how losing 3 and 4 games a year while having a shite offense wasnt acceptable at lsu. Everyone was in agreement with that statement until O was hired and then it somehow changed.

O has done a great job this year.

Is this another thread where you bring Miles into it and then say you never brought him up?

I don’t want this to turn into another pissing match about Miles...do you?

He deserved crap the last two years.

How many games do we win if he makes a good OC hire in 2017 or 2018?

I'm just asking your stance on winning titles and if o wins a title this year does that means he is a good coach in your eyes. If that is true and you have conflicting thoughts running through your head.. that's on you brother.

I stated O was a top 5 or 10 coach earlier this year. Don’t really know his faults as a coach at LSU ...can you fill me in on what his weaknesses are as a coach?

Was it you or goldrush that said O would never win a championship at LSU?

Proud to say I was Orgeron the whole way. Even got into it with a family member (distant cousin) and we do not speak to this day over the argument. Thats his choosing. I wanted Ed Orgeron and he wanted Tom Herman. He got ugly and said things he shouldnt have said. Referred to Ed as an inbred swamp rat and that he had no business in coaching. I told my own family member that he was inbred if anybody was inbred. And told him that his beadie eyes being so close together proved it. LOL I was adamant that we should hire Orgeron. Well thankfully we have Orgeron. And my cousin became a Texas fan. Oh how sweet it was to beat Tom Herman and Texas this year.
Family Feud is still in full motion. LOL

I mean I’ll say this, I thought He was gonna stick with just Ensminger and he didn’t.

Then he hired Brady.

Those are opinion changing movesZ

This incoming class is also insane.

Basically 2019 O started firing on all cylinders.

As good as Joe is, I think We’ll have better teams Going forward in 2-3 years. Especially if we keep up recruiting.

A great recruiter and great motivator.
I dont think he a great x and O coach. Not to say he is bad but we just have never seen him come up with game plans. I'm sure he has helped develop them.
