Is that world famous tuba player in the band this year?

He is definitely still IN the band. Saw a picture of him at practice. He is 67 now.

He conveniently left out of his story during his media tour that he already marched in college (and played the tuba) for 4 years while at Southeastern.
The story of, "I wanted to live out a lifelong dream. I played tuba as a kid but had to re-learn it" is just a tad bit misleading.
I feel sorry for the kid who got his spot taken by a retired, well off, narcissist.
He conveniently left out of his story during his media tour that he already marched in college (and played the tuba) for 4 years while at Southeastern.

That's some super strong feelings you have for some tuba player in the band.
Isn't it entirely possible that his dream was to make in the LSU band specifically?
And isnt it also possible that he had to relearn the tuba after not playing it for 40+ years?
