Texas winning out would be pretty huge for us

UT should be favored in the rest of their games outside the Big 12 championship. Assuming we go 11-1 with the Bama loss (not sure if that’s something that can be assumed anymore but for the sake of discussion), Texas beating Oklahoma would probably put us over Oklahoma and we’d have the H2H over UT to be able to stay over them, putting us in the Playoff. Herman just needs to get some offense going in that Big 12 Championship game because they got shut down last weekend oddly enough. We make the playoff if the Big 12 doesn’t.
ETA: Obviously it would be best if we win out. Jesus Christ I didn't think that even needed to be said.

UT winning out would indeed be glorious for us. That would improve the optics around our SOS and would knock Oklahoma out of the playoff most likely.

Why are you assuming we go 11-1. We have the best resume. We have lost to bama 8 straight years, I get that. However we have the best team this year. Get on the fricking #Tigertrain2019!!!

If OU loses big 12 championship game I would rather it be against an average Texas team with a few losses.

We must have Texas beat Oklahoma. An undefeated big ten champ is in. Clemson is in. In this scenario Bama is in. Unless there is some round robin of the big ten beatingeach other We have to win out

Does not matter what other teams do that we have played. We have plenty of other huge games left to play. We aren’t desperate for top 15 wins. LSU winning out is all that matters. Look at Clemson. They play absolutely no one and they are in if they win.

Actually it could matter, a lot. Im not conceding bama, at all, but a 11-1 lsu does get in if Texas runs the table.
