LSU could go blow to blow with this team. Their defense is down right atrocious.

They should put 7 or 8 in the box and make Harris throw, they'd have a chance then.

Lol their pass d is 113th in the country. Arkansas is pretty bad and Harris put up over 300 yards on them. They are going to make him look like jmarc slinging the ball.

It would not shock me to see LSU lose to Tech they will be more motivated than LSU.

motivation is my concern. I don't think our players care one bit about this game. They went from being a possible playoff team to this shitty bowl.

Texas Tech is thrilled to be there playing a big-name opponent like LSU.

If we don't show up emotionally, it could be rough.

I expect another Miles shitty performance hopefully I am proven wrong. I no longer have faith in Miles as a coach and we know what we have at QB

How many of those yards were on busted coverages that we saw regularly at the beginning of the year? I saw poor tackling, big run plays, even big pass plays. But what I didn't see much of is a receiver running by himself with guys looking at each other like that was supposed to be his man or area.

That's the stupidest silver lining I've ever heard of. Hey, we gave up big plays, but our guys were remotely near the players as they cruised for back breaking touchdowns. Are you guys serious?

As much as I am critical of Les Miles and think his time is over at LSU I do not believe TT will beat LSU. As a matter of fact I think LSU wins by 14+.

They can't stop LSU run game and we will make enough plays on defense to hold their offense in check.

LSU 42 TT 28

The "meme" that you were referring to was that we employed a new coverage scheme and we gave up big plays early due to busted coverages from guys not being familiar enough with the scheme. You said that was stupid because we gave up X points and yards. Is submit that you need to pick your critiques. You can't say that it's stupid that we didn't give up plays on busted coverages, when you are wrong. Schematically, they did much better. Tackling and fatigue due to lack of depth is what burnt us. Most of the big plays and yards we gave up were on rushes. Go back and look at what you were slamming before you move the goalposts.

I remember in 2011 WVU had 450+ yards passing against the greatest D backfield in LSU history and WVU lost by nearly 4 TDs.

why did you feel the need to preface your post in this way? couldn't have just started with "I do not believe TT will beat LSU"?

Because he thinks LSU will win the game in spite of Les. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Are you stupid?

Remember the name Jakheem Grant. Watched about 3 or 4 Tech games because the Air Raid is my favorite offense to watch and study. Kliff will move him everywhere. They'll start in a Empty set and run a play, then they'll hurry up, slide him into the backfield and hand it off to him as a RB. He's in the slot, out wide and lined up in the backfield. Very dangerous player that LSU must stop

i don't think anyone should take texas tech lightly. they have a pretty dynamic quarterback who should be completely healthy by the bowl game. They have a very serviceable offensive line and a better running game than they get credit for. I don't know if they have the horses to pull out the W but they are certainly a tough opponent

The Tech Passing game is good once they get into a rhythm, but can get rattled at times if you stop them a couple of times in a row, being that they basically have to score every possession thanks to their defense. Pat Mahomes should finally be at full-strength though. Kid is a very good runner, but usually only does so when he absolutely has to.

Also, watch out for #11 Jakeem Grant. He's like a new age Trindon Holliday. He can run any defense ragged if given the slightest amount of space. Very dangerous on those underneath routes, but also a legitimate deep ball threat.

I've watched every game of both teams, being that I went to both schools and am a fan of both, so this should be interesting.

Texas Tech is going to make a mockery of #DBU.

The real question in this game is whether LSU's pass rush and ball control offense will shut down Tech's passing game. The DB's shouldn't even be a part of it if they do it right.
