Although the ranking is justified this year in pass defense.
I thought we did a heck of a job containing A&M who I think has a much better QB, better running game, and athletes that we'll see from Tech.
just have to limit the big plays downfield. I truly believe if Steele lets our db's play more man and bump in run coverage its going to be a long game for those Tech receivers. We usually have breakdowns and miscommunication when in zone

The LSU DB's don't face Kingsbury's offense either. Air raid with 5 guys running all over. They'll move the ball well but won't slow LSU running down. They should put 7 or 8 in the box and make Harris throw, they'd have a chance then.

Mahomes has much better numbers at Tech but switch him with either Allen/Murray playing Big 12 defenses I'm sure they'd have somewhere around the same exact stats.

I'm pretty pessimistic when it comes to playing against inovative coaching, good athletes, and a team able/willing to adapt intragame. Also, 3-4 weeks off helps only the injured. Timing is usually off, conditioning usually off, emotions usually not where they should be, distractions galore...etc.
LSU will have their frickin hands full. That one trick LSU pony better have its mojo on.

Les Miles, et. al. is the current coach of your LSU football team. For the love of all that's holy, stop bitching about it. Get on board or start following another team. You and many others expressed your desire for him to be fired. It didn't happen. For better or worse you lost that fight. If so desired, take it up again next year, but for the next 10 or 11 months, shut the frick up about it.

How many of those yards were on busted coverages that we saw regularly at the beginning of the year? I saw poor tackling, big run plays, even big pass plays. But what I didn't see much of is a receiver running by himself with guys looking at each other like that was supposed to be his man or area.

They will stack the box and BH won't be able to carry the game. It would not shock me to see LSU lose to Tech they will be more motivated than LSU. I be there though cheering my tigers
