Of course they do. They actually truly believe there is magic the University of Texas. This despite tremendous evidence over the years. It's actually hilarious.

We are losing a ton on both sides of the ball, including our Heisman-trophy winning QB, All-American RB, 4 starting OL, our DC, our wunderkind de facto OC, and a bunch of analysts. I think we’re gonna wind up being really good, but I doubt we come out the gate firing on all cylinders the 1st few games of the year. I think we’ll beat Texas, too, but it will be hard fought, and I certainly don’t think we should make fun of their fan base for thinking they may actually win. They may.

So Texas Fans believe their Football team will be good next year & expect them to beat an LSU team just lost an arse-LOAD of great players on Offense & Defense not to mention a completely NEW Coaching Staff as well?
I mean I dont think theyll beat LSU next year, especially in BR. BUT they did play a pretty tight game with LSU this past season & will have a much more experienced team, especially at QB than LSU next year so its not really all that surprising or crazy for their FANS to be confident going into 2020.
Of course its Texas & Herman so after they choke AGAIN & LSU beats the dog sh!t out of them they end up with 3-4 losses AGAIN theyll start screaming for TH

Of course they do they are Texas. They think they are bigger and better than everyone else and their crap doesn't stink. They also think they will be in contention for the national championship. They can't even win a crappy big 12.

I don’t know a single Texas fan who feels that they will roll into Baton Rouge next season and beat us convincingly in Death Valley. Quite a few like their chances, mostly because we lost Burrow, most of the offense, as well as the two coaches many feel were largely responsible for our success this season.

Enjoy! Their overconfidence just makes their loss all the more crushing for them.
Every year the expect to be a contender, and in the last decade they haven't come close. I say we should talk the longhorns up as if they are going to have a special season. The media might buy in and push them up the rankings, which will only make us look all the better when we kick their asses.
