Getting blown out today is not good. It makes it seem like the better team just played poorly the first two games on the road. We’ve had a bunch of these type weekends where we knew we were the better team but lost the first two, then blew the inferior team out on Sunday.
Needed to at least make this one competitive to not discredit the rest of the weekend.

Wow just wow. So you think it’s more likely the better team did not play well for two games and won the third than the better team played well and won the first two and played bad the last game? This game does not discredit the weekend. LSU won the series and at the end of the season that’s all that matters.

It’s very hard to get a gauge this early in the season but my feeling, admittedly invalid, is that LSU lacks quality pitching and more than likely not contend for a championship this season. The preseason ranking of 4th in the SEC West seems to be justified at this time.
