We caved one inning later than usual.

It’s actually improvement.

Sometimes it’s on the players and sometimes it’s on the coach. Taking Holman out is all on Jay….along with the loss.

Johnson is constantly grasping at straws. He looks lost right now.

Guess we know why the players are stressing- the frickin coach overthinks everything

Take out the guy that has kept them guessing all night

Jay is a dumb arse

NO IT WAS NOT. Geez. You want to let a guy see him a third time with a guy hitting nearly .509 with RISP or being in your ace in the pen with an open base? I would bet you Herring missed his spot.

Where in the hell do some of you come from with this bull shite?

You do realize every successful coach does this without even flinching, time after time, right?

Meh, easy to say in hindsight.

It wasn't just the matchup. Holman was at 100 pitches, had walked a couple and given up some hard contact the last couple of innings, including one piss rod this inning that went 116 of the bat. If he gave up a 3-run bomb, you'd have been bitching that he should have taken Holman out. This thread is easy to make after you've seen the result.

No he wasn’t. He was in the low 90’s pitch count

Why didn't you make this thread until you knew Herring gave up a hit? Would you have still made it had Herring for an out?

I know the answer, because I know you are a dumbass. But I just want to see how dumb you actually are.

You'd be bitching had Holman been left in and gave up that hit.
