Yeah think you could be wrong. Marshall is first round now and if he has strong combine he is definite first round. That is nothing against Randle, who had a strong NFL career, but think Marshall is different level.

RR was 2nd to last pick of the 2nd rd. Depending on his 40 and medicals Marshall is probably mid 2nd.

Terrance versus Rubeus Randle. Tough call.

Looking at the draft experts rankings he has no chance going in the first. He is listed 131st on cbssports. They have alot Wr ranked higher. Chase Smith Waddle Moore Ross Batesman StBrown Wallace Surratt Olave. I was wrong about RR I thought he went late 1st

Randle didn’t have the motivation
Marshall much better player
Marshall much better player

About the same
23 TDs
13 TDs
Really? Marshall is top three all time in the red zone, arguably the best. E Martin, Chase and Marshall inside the 20. Reed was not the same level of red zone threat, nor was Jefferson.

RR was a 1st round selection and I may be wrong but I dont see Marshall going in the 1st
What. He will be the third WR take behind Chase and the Bama guy.
Wouldn’t shock me if Marshall went ahead of one of them.

I don’t understand where you are getting your info but all those WR’s are not going ahead of Marshall. Kipper has him in his top 25. You are dead wrong!

After reading this I searched Reuben and came across this stat on this article about him from last year Why didn’t the NFL want Rueben Randle?
That’s pretty crazy

Randal played three years if I am not mistaken. Marshall was injured as a freshman, missed 3 games last year, and played part of this year which is highly disfunctonal. Really can't compare with stats but I would say Marshall is the better receiver.

Bastrop High stand up !!
He was a senior in at BHS when i was a freshman. I thought Rueb would go on to have a HOF type career.

Hard decision. Randle was in a terrible offensive system with poor to mediocre QBs and still put up over 900 yards and 8 TDs as a junior. Marshall is in a mediocre offensive system with poor to great QBs and put up over 700 yards and 10 TDs as a junior.
LSU threw 279 passes in 14 games in 2011. For comparison LSU has thrown 289 passes in 7 games this year, so amount of games don't matter. Statistically they are equal as hell. While Randle has almost 200 more yards on only 5 more catches, Marshall has 2 more TDs on 5 less catches. Anybody saying Marshall is way better, hasn't thought this through.
While Marshall has that huge 13 TD season, that was the product of LSU's offensive system and Joe Burrow. He had a lot of red zone shots and with guys like Chase and Jefferson out of routes, it made it easier for him (a big RZ target), to be open. I know some people will say, well what about this year that he had 7 TDs with Brennan in the first 3 games, well that was with Brennan, and in those 3 games alone, Brennan threw the ball almost half the time LSU as a team threw the ball in 2011 in 14 games.
So I would place them equal. Really, really hard to give an edge to either.
