If that is the case (which it is likely it could be) that's because we don't want him. We are after a bigger fish.
If LSU wanted Vitello...we could pay him enough money to jump ship from Knoxville. We get better players and afford him a better opportunity to reach the top of the mountain. That is just a fact.

Vitello is not coming here. May not go anywhere. Think about it..you know he has. He is getting ready to get paid with job security. This year will buy him the end of a long term contract.

All things will never be equal. But if you mean the same money….it’s a no brainer, stay at Tennessee. Job security for at least 5 years. LSU..not so much. Win big or get the hell out. I’m not saying LSU is wrong but that is what it is.

It’s all about the postseason. Frankly you sound a little worried that LSU is going to come into your house and smack you around. The Tennessee series more than any other is the one that stuck in the craw of our team and fanbase.

That #1 recruiting class are all freshman. They were instrumental in our west coast take over. Lame Duck fans didn’t show up until LSU did but by that time, it was too late. Those poor fans just didn’t know it. I called it after beating Gonzaga. LSU doesn’t start runs without finishing. They finished it.
This team is very much different then in April. They hungry, poised and playing for something other than themselves. Our pitching is fresh. We have a couple of extra pitchers to throw at Tennessee or whoever. It’s not like Tennessee dominated LSU at home the first time. As I recall LSU came very close to beating Tennessee 2-3 games. The balls bouncing a little differently now.
The pressure will be on Tennessee to win that first game. You’ll find out that it’s not so easy to win in the post season, even at your own field, when a really good team comes in ready. We’ve been there!

Bruce didn’t exactly cheat as much as he got fisher lying and misleading an investigation. He had a barbecue at his houses. Shame on him for wanting to feed kids and make sure they eat.
