Its cuz you've never actually played the sport or at least never played defense. They appear to not be playing hard cuz they are thinking and not reacting. When you don't know your assignments and keys like the back of your hand, you have to think. Thinking takes time and allows blockers to get on you and stops you from being explosive.
if it was just Clark looking this way, you could say that Clark is the issue but when its the whole god damn defense looking this way, its on the DC.

Go ahead and down vote me into oblivion, but I believe O will never have that hunger for a National Championship again. He’s getting paid good money guaranteed regardless of what happens from here on out and won’t need to or have to worry about finding another job if he was to get fired after next season.
He deserves the chance to prove if he can catch “lightning in a bottle” a second time though. We’ll what happens but I if I’m being truthful, I’m not sure he can.

Damone Clark has been absolutely terrible. I wish it was simply a matter of effort. That would mean it could be easily fixed.
Honestly, at this stage, he can't be on the field.
