why because he has "decent" stats thru 3 games so all of a sudden he could start at a power house like LSU. GTFO and watch your "4 Star" qb get treated like a red headed step child on saturday. BTW stars dont mean shite ask Jacob Hester (2 star)

you do realize that JJ would light the world on fire against FCS team, then two 100+ ranked fbs teams

prolly like 200 yards passing. which is lighting it up for JJ

because LSU is gonna play about 40 guys who are better than the 40 guys that WVU is gonna play.

And, your coach is actually worse than Les Miles.

and show me where i said JJ was a star. you dont know what the frick you are talking about so you make wild accusations and speculations that Geno could be a starter at LSU. Watch your precious Geno fold like a cheap suit.

yet he was offered a scolly so i guess your coaches saw the potential of him being able to start at LSU one day

what makes you say that? teams offer athletes which a dual threat QB usually is a glorfied athlete. We offered Pat White a scholly as a WR/RB. Marshall Faulk was offered every where in the SEC as a DB but San Diego State was the only school that offered him as a RB so he went there. There is no telling what he was offered at LSU or Bama or Florida

it was WR or DB to think Pat White could play RB is a stretch

Geno is more of a pocket passer who can take off if he needs to

ok wr/db what ever man do you not know college football? Hell laron landry was a qb in high school pretty damn good one too. Marcus Spears was a TE/RB/DE yes he did play RB at 280 lbs. Shyronne Carrey was a QB. bottom line is to say Geno Smith would come in and start at LSU is laughable because he put up ok numbers against terrible opponents. Will you be saying the same when he throws a couple of INTS and completes around 45% of his passes saturday...proly not. Will you be saying it when he finishes the year with 13-15 INTs probably not. GTFO wvu stopped becoming relevant as soon as White and Slaton graduated

lots of players play both ways in HS, these coaches know what position they are recruiting these guys for and a beast like LL needs to be hitting someone

LSU's oline does not have an advantage over WVU's dline.

You gave up 135 yards to Marshall on 18 carries for an average of 7.5 yards per carry. That is terrible.

It is worth noting WVU also had 3 sacks for 24 yards. So really, Marshall ran for 159 yards on you.

Your lofty ranking as a run defense is attributable to the fact that you shut down Maryland - a team that went 2-10 last year - (-10 yards - they got 8 sacks that negated Maryland's 30-something rushing yards) and padded your stats against Coastal Carolina (63 yards).

I wouldn't say that is great competition. Against the best team you have played (Marshall), you gave up yards.

Our oline is better than Marshall's. If we can produce a 150 yard rushing game, we have the opportunity to control the game with possession, defense, and special teams.

If we get a decent day out of JJ, we'll score some points on you.

Specifically, having watched WVU this year, the O-line looks extremely suspect up the middle. I'm looking for multiple sacks and +2 turnovers when they play the Tigers.

Im not going to come in here and argue stats because it's impossible to try and persuade a fan of another team to think that his team will lose. That is just dumb. That being said it's funny to see the few opponents fans that come here and try to stir up shite and hype their team just to have their team get their arse kicked and then we will never hear from them again.
