Well let's suppose for a moment that you are intelligent enough to know how babies are made and then let's suppose that you are lucky enough to find someone who would like to make one with you. You then have enough sperm to fertilze the egg and are fortunate enough to have a little girl. And on that little girls 18th birthday some frickin moron comes up and rubs his nut sack all over her pretty little face and it's caught on camera. Now, gathering all of the intelligence that you possibly can, would you still consider that 'hazing'?

I'm just curious on where some of you draw the line. If it's his pecker rather than nuts, then is it a crime? If it's across his lips rather than side of face? Does it have to involve penetration? Have clear sexual intent?

He wanted to play Billy Badass that night, that much is clear. He also truly wanted to make sure everyone around there looked at his nuts, but not his pecker. Conclusion: He clearly has some inadequacy issues that result in deviant sexual behavior when alcohol removes inhibitions. Prescription: Let Big Bubba have him for a weekend and show him the other end of the stick.

Oh. So it's ok to do pretty much anything you want to someone as long as they're passed out. They won't remember anyway.

well then we better lock up about 75% of guys that went to college & pledged a fraternity, were freshman on a sports team, or joined a secret society that hazes. yep, let's get all those deviants off the streets!

WOW

An argument could be made that you consent to the hazing when you join said frat. Albeit there are court cases against frat members for their pledges.

You don't by any stretch of the imagination consent to sexual touching when you're passed out at a public fast food joint.

NOLA is doing itself a giant disservice by pursuing this case.

This is only the case when the victim is not you or your son or daughter.

how about we start with teaching my young under 21 year old daughter a little self control to not get drunk off her arse & pass/black out in public?

if you're old enough to get yourself in to a situation, then you're old enough to accept the consequences of your actions that put you in that situation.

Great idea. So many people don't get charged with rape when they take advantage of a passed out drunk girl. Oh wait they do.....

I guess if someone puts something in your drink and you pass out unconscious your written off as a drunkard who deserves balls across the face.

I initially didn't have a hard on (no pun intended) to see this guy prosecuted to fullest extent of the law. I assumed it was a drunken mistaked which had already cost him his job and most of his respect in his community. I figured that was really enough and we could probably hit him with a slap on the wrist misdemeanor.

But now I realize that he has no idea why what he did was wrong. I think he needs to be helped in his learning.

I was in a fraternity, I played sports....I haven't ever joined a secret society, so you've got me there. I could argue that at least those are people that you know, and how you are with friends in private is different. If it's standard for you and your crew to get together to put your dicks on each other...hey, that's y'alls thing.

But I'll bet if y'all went out, and starting putting your junk on people at a restaurant, your fellow fraternity brothers and teammates would run afoul of the law.

Ok, now go back and reread the post. I started by saying 'let's suppose that you are intelligent enough'. Obviously you are not in this category so you are not entitled to respond.

absolutely.

how about PAY THE frick attention to your drinking. at a certain point the "victim" of some of these types of crimes needs to accept some responsibility for their actions.

"Drink Responsibly" & none of this happens to the kid. end of story.

I guess if his daughter goes out, gets hammered, passes out, and some dude rapes her, it's her fault. Hey, she put herself in that position. After that, she'll know not to do it again, right?

I'm sorry. Getting drunk and passing out should no way lead to balls on the face. I mean shite if he was awake and instigating people he would probably be due for a roundhouse to the face.

But when you are heads down on a table you can't provoke anyone.

Correct. Mr. Downing should learn to control his actions when under the influence.
