What I remember about Jeremy Hill is he always seemed to be going forward when he was tackled picking up and extra yard or two.

Jeremy Hill is one of my favorite LSU running backs.

Hill was one of the best backs I’ve seen at LSU. Dude was so much fun to watch. He legit had every tool available that you want in a RB. Size speed power insane cuts vision. Dude was the total package

I’m not sure why you got so many downvotes but I do see similarities in their size and their game is not that similar. They are not exactly the same but they did kind of play the same in college it’s just Jeremy Hill had a better overall team and I think Hill ran harder and played to his limit, TDP did well as a freshman on that 19 team but kind of fell off and it seemed that he didn’t give 100% in his last two years but Covid kind of messed things Up and O didn’t get everything out of his athletes. I think with proper training and structure TDP will be pretty good at the next level.

Jeremy Hill is one of the more underrated running backs in LSU history. Perhaps because of his off the field stuff prior to LSU.
100% agree. He's overlooked and underrated when we talk about great Running Backs at LSU. That said, I absolutely saw the similarities between TDP and Hill. TDP just didn't have the same success. That could have been due to his lack of vision and talent or just plain luck of the draw on the carries he was given(down and distance situations).
But when TDP got some space he definitely looked a lot like Hill.

I thought he was going to be an absolute beast in the NFL after his rookie year in Cincy.

"Tyrion Davis-Price broke LSU’s school single-game rushing mark by shredding Florida’s defense for 287 yards.
Davis-Price, who carried the ball 36 times and scored 3 touchdowns. He had an 18-yard scoring run in the second quarter, a 40-yarder in the third, and a 25-yard scamper in the fourth."
NFL Draft: 2022 / Round: 3 / Pick: 93
San Francisco 49ers
"The total value of Davis-Price's four-year contract is set to be $5,326,732, per OverTheCap.com. That includes a signing bonus of $1,053,988 and a 2022 salary-cap figure of $968,497."

Hill was much much better. TDP is like Kenny Hilliard or Nick Brosette

Hill went 203 for 1401 and 16 TDs in 2013. 6.9 per carry.
That’s absurd.

Or mainly cause he wasn’t nearly as good as Hill. That would also explain it.

That was with missing a game and a half for suspension

Price was plenty fast if he ever got a chance to show his speed
Price was caught from behind plenty last year. He cut a lot of weight to run what he did at the combine. His combine weight was about 15 pounds lighter. Watch Hill’s long TD runs against South Carolina, Clemson, and A&M in 2012 or Auburn in 2013. TDP can’t run like that. Hill dominated a ton of football games here and set the, at the time, SEC record for YPA at 6.9, a record that had stood for 20 years.
TDP is more in the mold of Charles Scott or Jacob Hester.

Jeremy Hill rarely got caught from behind. TDP lacked that gear where he separated from defenders. Bama game last year was a great example. Jeremy Hill scores on that breakaway run.
