One series doens't justify a ranking.
If that was the case, Oregon State would be #1 in all polls because they swept a ranked Stanford team.
UNC has the #1 RPI in the country and has won 45 games. LSU has the #4 and has won 45 games

I can agree with this but it's literally splitting hairs with 2/3. Vandy is clear cut #1 in my opinion. Now if UNC loses next week to UVA and LSU takes a Series from suddenly hott OM then I think LSU would become clear #2 no debate.

That I agree with but the sad part about it is that pollsters won't put two SEC teams 1 and 2 as National seeds anyways

Agree about pollsters not liking to put teams from the same conference as 1 and 2 national seeds. I think they did in 2008 but it rarely happens.

Hopefully Aaron Fitt will finally see that Vandy is the best team in the country right now.

Fwiw UNC is 6-4 in there last 10. Lsu is 7-3. Vandy is on a 11 game win streak and 6 of those came against 2 top 12 teams in our poll.
