TD Ameritrade Park -
Left Field Line - 335
Left Field Power Alley - 375
Center Field - 408
Right Field Power Alley - 375
Right Field Line - 335

Petco Park (Padres) - Notorious pitchers park
Left Field Line - 334
Left Field - 367
Left Field Power Alley - 390
Center Field - 396
Right Field Power Alley - 391
Right Field - 382
Right Field Line - 322

Safeco Field (Mariners)
Left Field Line - 331
Left Field Power Alley - 388
Center Field - 405
Right Field Power Alley - 385
Right Field Line - 326

Target Field (Twins)
Left Field Line - 339
Left Field Power Alley - 377
Center Field - 411
Right Field Power Alley - 365
Right Field Line - 328

All of these fields are notorious pitchers parks. Why in the hell is TD Ameritrade Park so big?

if LSU won last night, there would be zero "TD Ameritrade is too big" threads.

IMHO TIFWIW

It's the same size as the old Rosenblatt. Clearly, that tells you the dimensions aren't the real issue here.

It's really the location of the new park. Sits low and wind blows into the park. Old park sat high and wind blew out.

With wooden bats, sure. The size of the field is not the issue.

it has more to do with ball carry and wind then the dimensions of a ball park.

No it's bigger than Rosenblatt, but we need to play to the park. Stop making excuses we played in Hoover and we came out the losers bracket, we just need to play LSU ball.

Isn't the Box 330-370-405; not much difference.

If we played in a park with those dimensions last night, although subtle, there would have been 3 hr's last night at least.

But, but, but the park, the UCLA player throat cutting, the small ball bush league play, the bats, the balls! the lack of steroids!

Everything to blame except us not playing our A game. Couldn't possibly be our fault that we lost.

I disagree. 2 maybe.

The ball was caught at the warning track, an OF could definitely still make a catch if the wall was 5 feet closer.

Katz's shot was gone no matter what field. Ibarra hit two to the track and one about 3 steps onto the track. Both of those are gone in a normal field. Stevenson's might have been gone out of some parks. So yea, at least three, maybe four.
