So when East Carolina goes for 350 yards on VT, does that mean Bama's offense is completely screwed for the whole season?

No one was saying VT had a top 5 defense in the country
VT defense is better than TCUs IMO

I don't think anyone said they were top 5, just that they were and have been an elite defense for awhile. Giving up 10 points in the 1st quarter of a road game hardly proves otherwise.
Can tell everyone overreacting has never bet on football. There are ebbs and flows in games. Spots where teams play up and down. Rarely does a team play at a constant level.

Unfortunately, not working out that way at all.
TT manhandling TCU....pressuring the QB like we couldn't do. Stopping their scat back, like we couldn't do.
TCU would tell you that TT is better, right now, I'm afraid. I never thought I would ever think TT might have a better defense than LSU....ever....but it sure appears that way .

TCU defenses are typically better than average. Not sure if this is the case this year but Patterson's squads are typically solid with decent talent.
