It is unreal that all these guys were playing on Friday nights a year ago. Really proud and amazed that they are playing at the level that they are. Harold Perkins is a freak of nature.

They have turned what many thought would be an average season for a first year rebuilding coach into a group of really good players.

I am happily, a member of the crow eating bunch.

It's fantastic to see. Especially last night in front of all of those recruits.

LSU is a place where you can come, play immediately, and win.

2010 freshmen class had honey badger, Spencer Ware, Michael Ford, Brad Wing, and a few others. Those guys were immediate impact players in the season opener against UNC and throughout the season, IIRC.
ETA: did Wing redshirt and not being the swagger to the punter position til 2011?

The Spears / Clayton / Hill group turned it all around. Can’t remember how good they were as Freshmen.

Jones and Campbell got an education last night. That will pay dividends down the road.

Amazing freshman talent & contributions this season. Most impact in one class that I can remember.

Just think how far this program has come in 1 yr since the last 2 regular season games in '21 against OMiss and aTm. New or different starters at QB, RB, TE and a whole new OL plus 3 new DB's, 3 on the DL and a LB. To say this season was just a rebuild is an understatement it has been colossal. Tremendous job by BK and his staff this season. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our FB Tigers!

Don't look now but his nephew Xavier Ford is running the ball for the Wampus Cats and he's hit 2000 yards this season.

The Leesville Wampus Cats put out some RB's LINK /

Baws! That's FOUR first team Freshmen All-Americans.
I'd like to see some odds of them being on any of the straight up All-America Teams.
HP/Campbell?

True. And yet, how many sacks did they allow?
