I hope he doens't go to Flordia. Mullen has a good record with these big QBs that can run the power and are not the most accruate passers. Tebow, Dak, Fitz type guy. Finely would be unstoppable on third and short and he could develop into an accruate passer like Dak did at the end of this time at State.

Finley definitely has tools to work with. It's crazy to think 5 years ago LSU was desperate for just avg qb play and now other big SEC schools are coming after our reserves.

Props to O and E for that one.

The other schools prefer to wait and see if Brennan enters the portal at some point.

That tells me that neither has much of a QB. I have no concerns about LSU's Defense vs. TJ Finley. We just saw Finley against the LSU Defense in the Spring Game and it was good enough for TJ to finish 4th in the QB race. So let him go wherever he wants. Bye and good luck.

Florida lol He does remind me of Felipe Franks honestly. Big guy. Cannon arm. Just poor foot work and accuracy

He fits the profile Jimbo likes. Jamarcus, EJ Manuel, Winston, Mond, etc. I look for him to land there.

Maybe, but Dak was 1,000 times the athlete Finley is.

South Carolina is also interested. I know they remember him well.

Look TJ seems like a great kid. In his senior year he had a 53% completion rating. At LSU it was 57%. I keep hearing “Arm talent” with TJ and there is no doubt he has a cannon. The thing is, is that it is a cannon, not a guided missile. Once again, this kid seems great but definitely has a lot of fundamentals to work on and I hope he gets a great coach who can help him.

If it's SEC I'd rather Tennessee or UGA as opposed to teams we play on a yearly basis.

So you are scared to play TJ fricking Finley every year?

Dude is okay but that's about it

If I were a betting man, this is the spot. Or Virginia tech

If Jimbo can turn Mond into a serviceable qb, then he can certainly do the same with TJ.

Will never be on a big stage again. Competition from equally good QB’s at other programs will put him in the same position.

I didn't think another SEC program would entertain brining him in.
Why?

His on field production.

He was 18. Mistakes are not only acceptable, but expected.

Figured he could go somewhere along the likes of ULL or LaTech and start immediately, get a full year starting under his belt

You assume he wants to start and that the reason he left was that he wasn't #1. I think its because he wasn't #2. He is still talented enough for P5 schools.

and then transfer to a bigger Power 5 school

This would waste his free year of eligibility and possibly cast him as a quitter. Much like Tathan Martell

Kellen mond was the 3rd ranked dual threat and 108 overall.

Finley was a 3 star who was properly rated. He has a great arm. Finley can make the wide open throws.

Better hire you a nurse now to change your diapers when Brennan starts and keeps the position.

I would think he could start at most sec schools and would have been comfortable with him leading LSU

So he’ll have an edge for 3 years in a row. Yeah good for him but this is terrible news.
