All of you should just admit that you want him to play because it helps your team, not because care at all about him. You know no rational argument exists as to why he should risk further injury when he's a sure fire top-5.
To the guy who said the ankle injury will happen five more times in the NFL, Fournett will be getting paid all five times that it happens. He ain't getting paid when it happens at LSU.

We've listed many actually, it's ok if you disagree. But fournette and countless other top players throughout the years dont agree with you. And they are enjoying the NFL right now after enjoying the college experience.
Two guys who did what you suggest never made it, at least not anymore than they would have had they stayed in school. You think Maurice Clarret and Mike Williams regret missing out on that last year of the incredible life of an OSU/USC star? Those were special teams too. The only thing you gaurantee by skipping your last year is that you will miss out on that experience. It doesn't have to be either-or lol

He will be getting payed those 5 times in the NFL whether he sprains it at LSU this year or sits out this year.
I'm going to present you with a crazy theory: Playing college football is fun, especially a possible FBS title run. It's a once in a lifetime experience.
Yes so is playing in the NFL, which he will still do as well even if injured in college.

I never heard of this guy and have no plans to inform myself. I pay zero attention to "national media" comments on LSU or college FB in general.

That may be the right decision for Fournette.
Remember Marcus Lattimore? He was headed toward Hall of Fame greatness, and then suffered was proved to be a career ending injury.

This is all just dumb to even bring up. The guy isn't going to stop playing so why even discuss it. If anyone ever did it wouldn't be looked at or talked about in a positive way. The team probably wouldn't want him simply bc of the media circus it would create, see the first gay football player to speak out. That was a first and how did that turn out? It would put a mark on him he doesn't want nor anyone should. You do the right thing and that's be a team player, football isn't an "I" game it's a team game and should be played that way. I would want my boy to play his college years. It's not all about money it's about character, and the legacy you leave on the game. That will take you further than anything else in any field. Life doesn't stop when the game does. How do you wanna be remembered??
