good grief. Did you even go to school?? I am not a Miles man, but we just got beat by a better team on the road, but we can still win 10 games...not to mention still win the SEC west. Do I believe we will win the west? No. But I will gladly take 10 wins this season knowing that it sets us well for the next season.

What does that have to do with going to school? And yea, we still have a chance, but Auburn has to nosedive. Did you really come into this season score board watching auburn?

its been 2 seasons....2 SEASONS. Since we won the National Championship. We were undefeated and ranked 6 and lost on the road to number 4 by 7.

We have a shot to win out still and finish 11-1.

Were you one of those kids who woke up Christmas morning and was disappointed you never got what you asked for?

No, but Auburn has evolved into a very good team as the season has progressed.

McLovin, serious question...what fan base would you rather be a part of currently? (if you could chose any in the country)...I will give you Alabama, but after that, I am not sure if there is anyone else that fairs any better than us currently.

Damn go cart

but it is not that we lost, it is how we lost. I dont care what anyone says, we were the superior team but were flat and looked confused to say the least. If we would have played a great, mistake free, motivated game, I would chalk it up as a loss and move on, but we were outcoached from motivation to gameplanning, to adjustments by a coach who looks like he would be in a early 90's B level porn movie rather than leading a top ten team

I am happy here, but like everyone else, I want answers from the man who is the reason why this program has not taken off, or the people that he employs who are just as responsible

I'm serious though, other than Alabama, is their any other program you would be happy with the current state of though? (And I am not just talking about week 8 into 2010, I am talking about the big picture).

No, I think some us just realize the reality that you can't win the National title (or your conference title every year).

i don't expect to win the NC every year, but i believe LSU as a program has reached another level of expectations.....meaning 8-9 wins isn't enough, especially with a 12 game regular season. if you think LSU has LEGITIMATELY in the hunt for any type of championship over the last couple of seasons, then you're truly delusional and/or blind.

before the TN game there were a number of fans calling for McElwain's head and wanting to see McCarren given a shot at QB...

i didnt say we were the last couple of years, but I understand even solid programs go through those kind of runs. This year, yes, I think we could hang with anyone...despite the anaemic offense.

The question is what did you say that was right?
Let's see Mack Brown loses and Oklahoma loses
Bet their "fans" are not insulting there coaches. If they are they should follow soccer. How many downs of football have you played or coached for that matter!

IM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU BEING HAPPY AS AN LSU FAN...I am asking if you belonged to any other fan base, would you be content with the state of their programs? (the point I am trying to get at, is that some people bitch no matter what happens, I am simply trying to establish if you are one of those people).

Anyone who wants Miles gone should stop going to games and do not sell y9our tickets. The writing on the wall in the Hallman and DiNardo eras was subpar attendance.

If you REALLY are that pissed with LSU football and you wanna go ahead and be a part of the small mass who wants to actively engage in finding a new coach and won't rest until you do then stop going to games. Meanwhile, most people bitching and griping are still going to games or they say, "I am boycotting LSU until Miles is out" but they have no problem selling their tickets so they can have their precious 80 bucks for weekends.

Calling into entertainment shows and making accusations over the internet is fine, but if you are still going to the games and hoping that the season will turn around then just ride it out. I am not happy with Miles, either, but I love the university far too much to make things worse. I do my griping here. If I REALLY wanted to do something about it, though, I would boycott and find others to boycott with me. ALl that matters is $$$$ and right now, 90 thousand strong are still walking through gates and the waiting list still remains in triple digits.

When LSU attendance dips below 80 K, you might see change.

*not aimed at anyone in this thread in particular.

McLovinII, we all know we have problems, and I think b/c you're still close to being in school you feel like you're a part of this team.

We watch the team play. No matter what you say or do you will never change any opinion Les has about his team, nor the way they plan.

Being removed from LSU for about 5 years now I understand that the stress you're feeling right now is flat out not worth it. When you grow up and get your own life away from LSU you will understand.

I have a question about your playing/coaching resume. Does it include a 70% winning percentage in D1 football? Coaching at the professional level for any amount of time? Lettering in football at a Big 10 power. Ever been Coach of the Year in a BCS conference? Winning a BCS championship? Winning 75% of your games at a SEC school?

Yeah, I'm guessing you are qualified to question somebody who has that resume about what you think you know about how to manage a football team.

Maybe drive to Austin and question Mack Brown, swing over to Gainesville and see why they've lost 3 straight (that guy has won 2 NCs in the last 6 years).

Sean Payton and Drew Brees are getting there arse handed to them at home by Cleveland. Go to his show too and call him out.
