I've been told that there is no RV tailgating by the stadium. Where is everyone parking that going? And where do you plan to tailgate? It's our first time to Vsndy!

There are plenty of decent bars within walking distance.

Tailgating is very underwhelming there. South of the Stadium ("Zone 3") along Natchez Trace and the parking lot to the left is where you'll find 90% of the tailgating action. I'm not sure what is required to get a pass there.

You'll find a few more people setting up along 31st Ave S./Blakemore Ave. (along Natchez Field).

I can't quite remember if people tailgate in Centennial Park (directly across West End Avenue - across from Vanderbilt Stadium). I may recall some people setting up a few makeshift tailgates out there for their big games (e.g., Tennessee), but that's about it.

Honestly, I'd just find a good sports bar and setup shop. Tailgating at Vanderbilt just isn't worth the hassle. There are plenty of sports along Centennial Park, Hillsboro Village, and Midtown (which is just a 1/2 mile away).

The few times i've been to Nashville, their stadium looks like it's pretty much in downtown. There should be a lot of places to "tailgate" even if you're not specifically set up outside the stadium.

We parked RV on the street next to the park by stadium and McDonalds. Stayed there Fri - Sun. Think the guy who owns RV and drove called ahead and reserved spot
