"I feel kinda upset about not getting all SEC but its cool ill be an all that and more next season"

Not sure how to link tweets, but he posted this earlier tonight. Sounds to me he's coming back next year and hungry. Thoughts?

I searched for this and didn't find anything, so sorry if germans.

I don't find it surprising. He should.

Not dumping on the kid but the didn't play his best this season.

I've seen him play better.

Glad he's staying though, don't get me wrong.

Saw that too. Hope he doesn't leave with Reid Mingo and Sam leaving. Would be great news if he stayed. 1 more year at LSU and he could be a potential 1st rounder.

He's going to look better playing with Mo and TM7 with Brandon Taylor behind him.

It's the same reason Reid supposedly had a down year.

He actually looked out of position this year. His 4 picks is a testament to his amazing athleticism because he didn't play corner with very good technique. He would make himself a few extra million if he worked on his technique and returned next year. Great player.

I'll be super amped if Reid, Minter, Logan, and Simon all come back. Mostly concerned with Minter and Logan FWIW though

I thought the same thing.

Again, I'm not dumping on the kid, I won't do that.

I am glad he's staying.

Minter would be great but I'm never worried about the linebackers with Chavis. That's his job and they're always good.

Honestly, I think our offense will be so good next year (if Les doesn't get too much BBQ sauce on it) that if our D is just as good as it was this year we'll be in the BCS title game. I think while our d-line may lack some depth our DBs and LBs will be better.

It seemed like he was susceptible to double moves all season. He was pretty lucky the receivers for Auburn and Arkansas dropped two sure 70 yard TDs.

He should come back and get better. It would be a big piece back.

was kinda shocked to see he didn't even get an honorable mention for All-SEC though.

The two guys that got 2nd team had worse stats and weren't CBs that got avoided like Simon was this year. Collins and Mills got picked on a bunch so its not like Simon was getting thrown at all year and he still ended with 4 ints, 7 PD, and 38 tkls.

I hope he comes back. He can be a shutdown CB. It will give the Jalens more time to grow and get experience as well.

I like Simon and hope he comes back to prove that he is a top tier CB but you have to admit that he got beat pretty badly on a bunch of occasions this year. There were quite a few games where Mills easily outplayed him.

Dont remember that, but he would have been a fool for staying.

Man, this defense would have been great with him this season
