Maybe. But it won't be because they won this game.

You think NFL teams are going to pick Tua or Burrow based off of this one game? And ignore the total body of work, the combine numbers, etc?

Also, are you under the impression that QBs win and lose games all on their own?

Only if it is burrow. I do not see Tua as a No. 1 overall, even if he wins this weekend.

Both have great traits with differing styles a bit. I think this head to head game could be a huge deciding factor when a lot else remains very close.

It only takes one, and typically the teams picking top 3 in the draft didn’t get there by making rational decisions based on analytics and research.

ok. then tell me who's the no. 1 pick right now? and don't tell me you need to see how the rest of season plays out. we all know enough about each now. And if the biggest remaining game of their schedule isn't a deciding factor than the rest of the schedule sure the frick isn't neither.

That statement holds more credence for the Heisman Trophy than for the first QB drafted.

Good chance the first qb off the board will not be playing in this game.

Peyton Manning lost the biggest game of his season every year in college. Eli Manning lost his biggest game against LSU in 2003. Kyler Murray lost to Tua last year. Baker Mayfield lost his biggest game the year before. I could go on, but you get the point. This isn't the Heisman trophy. #1 draft picks aren't picked based on how they did in a single college game.

no. You don't draft players off of who won 1 game. Its based on how they fit your team.
