Support Justin McMillan today: Starting QB for Tulane against ULL

I know, he is not at LSU and never did see the field here. But he is:
(A) A LSU Graduate & Alumni
(B) Despite his physical limitations, he gave his best efforts, ran the scout team and competed for the starting job.
(C) He never got into trouble, embarrassed the university or our program or something has something bad to say about our school or our coaches.
(D) He will be the first LSU transfer QB to start in a bowl game.
(E) He rescued a 2-5 Tulane team and took it bowling going 5-6 as a started.
Oh! This is not anything against Coach O, Joe Burrows or any other Tigers. We have a better QB and the coaches made a right decision.
Geaux Justin McMillan! Do us proud today!

Not true, Anthony Jennings started in the NOLA bowl for ULL in 2016.

If ULL wanted to be smart with their branding they would stop with this “Louisiana” silliness and start calling themselves “Lafayette”. Then try to put a better team on the field and gain a legit rep as a good second tier program.

Calling themselves Lafayette when there already is another Lafayette is the opposite of smart branding.

There is a perrinial football powerhouse in the state that 99.9 percent of America recognizes as Louisiana’s team. ULL will never win that branding contest.
However when’s the last time you saw the other Lafayette on TV for any sport? That’s a winnable battle. Own what you are then knock off a big time program.
Georgia Southern beat Florida a few years ago. They didn’t start call themselves “Georgia”.
