I have never seen anyone worried about the end zone paint until this year. I guess we don't have any toss dives to bitch about

They did both end zones black and I’m sure LSU fans would find a way to complain why aren’t they purple

Most field paint is water base acrylic so it comes up fairly easily. They buy big containers of Simple Green, dilute it with water, let it soak, then use machines to scrub the paint off.

Not saying ATL did this but SOME turf field facilities just replace the endzone with a solid colored turf then paint on top of it. Wash it off. Replace with their regular endzone/midfield* logo.
The midfield logo area you'll sometimes see the turf installation lines around a certain size perimeter area.
It's a huge time saver from having to wash off, dry, paint, wash off when you have a busy facility that are multi-sport/event venues.

Superdome too lazy to paint the end zones black like every other national championship game venue has since the playoff started.
