It's not a big deal but I'm just curious why the Super Dome doesn't paint the endzones. They are the first venue since the playoff started.

Probably because it's more work to clean off, serves the same purpose whether its solid colors or not

They have plenty of time to clean them. Atlanta painted them the year they hosted it.

The paint or marking is applied, but is removable (obviously). To remove, you apply a chemical, pressure wash or scrub and then rake.

I don't get why the Dome does this.

Pioneer Paint makes a synthetic turf two part with a rotating brush that takes it right off. You paint, them spray solution on paint when you want i5 off and brush does the rest.

Good stuff.

So I went back and watched the ends of other titles, and sometimes it is the school's colors, and sometimes it is generic. Always curious about that.

Not saying they dont have time. They just maybe dont want to put in and pay the crew the extra time.

Or maybe it's just the style the Superdome decided it wants. They do the same for the saints.

um, did you not watch the game 2 weeks ago?

most turf fields dont paint the entire endzone. The grass fields get painted
