IF you are TRULY a long-time follower of LSU football over say the past 10+ years (I've got 40+ listening and watching years under my belt) you've got to be wondering in a positive way what the next month of games for Oct. have to offer before the gauntlet in Nov......

Quoting past RANT topics of interest this season I see "We've got the best coaching staff in America." Well.... I say it's time they earned their hard-earned and well-paid and justifiable keep. We trust in Chavis works for me. The guy is just too professional and quality to let the discombobulated crap that happened at Georgia happen again! Reminded me of the 2011 BCS National Championship game... I regress. Sorry,

The offense with the protective offensive line, Mett at the helm and 2 of the best natural and college-polished wide receivers in the country is set to go off the charts. Records will be broken in 2013! Future vision is lots of passing downfield (15+ yards) and a lot more running. We should average 500+ from here on out w maybe a close 400+ game against Ala. - if not more..... Offense needs to simply maintain status quo. We should NOT have to rely on last minute drive to win this month but hey - if we do I'm all for it. Looking forward to that if it happens. Mett and company need to learn to win on the last drive OR we won't win ALL the remaining games. Too many good offenses in the SEC! We had our chance against Ga. We need to make it happen if given another opportunity to win~.

Special teams seem to be average if not bordering on excellent in win column with matchups against anybody. FG kicker is money! Props to Mr. Dellyhouse (forgive the spelling). OBJr. just needs to secure the football! He learned a valuable lesson against Fla. but repeated his mistake against Ga. 3rd time is a charm. I don't expect there to be a 3rd time. He's too damned good - if focused!

Miles has seen his troupes battle. He knows his teams strengths and perceived weaknesses. He'll get the best kids in the correct spot to do the right thing going forward. In Miles We Trust!
