1) the coaching gap between LSU and Alabama no longer exists as it stands now
2) The consistent gap in recruiting and developing big bodies appears to be closing and very fast
3) LSU’s ability to recruit and develop an elite QB is no longer an issue.. currently at the forefront in terms of offense and QB production
4) The recruiting floodgates are opening wide
5) We currently sit atop the college football world
6) Our QB is headed for the Heisman

PINCH ME!!!!

Happy Monday!
Geaux Tigers!

You think LSU developed Burrow? That’s funny.
Let’s see how Brennan does next year. LSU has developed Brennan

It helps when you make calls that fit your QB, Brady fixes this

just peeked at the alabama board and the discussion about who they lose next year. they will be in rebuilding mode. so if they can't get a NC this year it could be a few more years. meanwhile we are growing stronger. things are looking good.

Honest question, but how much of this is Brady and how much is that Burrow was already really good and we finally have him in the right system? I know Brady is considered our WR coach, but not exactly sure how much he plays into QB development.

So, he hasn't improved from last year to this year under the watch of LSU coaches?

I'll give you that he was well on his way under Urban but you need to give our coaches some credit too.

If LSU didn't develop him, who did? If he was already developed he would've been named the stater at OSU and never came to LSU.

I will reserve judgment on this point.

LSU has played as much a role in developing JB as Ohio St. Some feel that Brady just put a talented QB into the right system, that's actually how it works. JB is Heisman material but he has made great strides from last year to this year. The current system allows him to make reads based on specific movements from the D which are a result of the offensive system he's running. It all works hand in hand.

Tap the brakes - we can recruit transfers. We haven't shown we can recruit and develop a HS QB. We can play the hell out of transfers (Mett, Etling, Burrow). May be irrelevant to the grand scheme of things, but, with all due respect, this portion of your post appears premature at best.

pump the brakes... we have not proven this yet.

If Brenan plays exceptionally well next year, i'll feel more comfortable with this.

I do feel like we will be much better recruiting elite QBs if we can play offense even close to this level next year

Even if we deserve no credit, I’m perfectly fine with that if it means getting results like these! Transfer quarterbacks are probably the new reality anyway.

Burrow's success is in direct relation to the hours he spent in the off season working with the receivers. His words.
In the Spring game Brennan looked as good as Burrow. I know spring is not an actual game.
However, I'm convinced, if Orgeron and Brady didn't believe he, Brennan, is ready to lead this offense, they would be desperately looking to bring in a transfer.
I trust these coaches. I don't have any confidence in the "Nervous Nellies" who complain constantly.
