It’s trackman. It’s not a gun. It gives the mph to the nearest 10th.

So many lineup options with this bunch but have to think he will be the opening day DH hitting 5 or 6

Lester Earl knows better than some state of the art trackman device. If he says it's reading wrong, I believe him.

It's almost as if elite baseball players get out 70% of the time or something.

Jones is a monster. I like how they’ve moved him around so they can get his bat into the lineup when they need to

never said we didn’t. I have no issue with Neal’s bat and arm. If there’s something he has to adjust to it’s the receiving and specifically receiving that many guys throwing that hard. They need to trust that the catcher can handle anything they throw. That takes time.

Neal not having the college EXPERIENCE is the only thing Milazzo has on him. You act like Neal came from came from some tiny school. He came from IMG where he has been the starting pitcher for the last 3 years and caught at least 5 different high school kids throwing 95+

I don't think anybody is arguing that Neal isn't good. No matter how good the teams he played for/against in high school, LSU (and the SEC) is a massive step up. He will have his opportunity to prove he can handle it right away, and if he does then he 100% should play.

I know where he came from. I know he’s capable. You act like I’m insulting the kid by saying it takes some adjustments to catch that many different guys every day throwing that hard with that much variety. I’m sorry but it’s not that same as catching a few 95+ guys over 3 years.

Two years. He was at North Florida Christian as a freshman.

But you’re never going to convey these people.

Yes. Edwards hit 96 mph 1x that I recall in his first inning of work.

And catching fastballs is one thing, it’s hard too to catch breaking balls designed to be in the dirt.

We have a mlb pitching coach now. The pitchers are getting top coaching. Hard sliders are especially wicked. And the pitchers are all different.

Call me a Nega-Tiger, but that doesn’t look like it’ll be ready in time.
